Charles Cortes is the photographer, videographer for the Tukwila Reporter, as well as the Kent Reporter and other publications in the Reporter newspaper group. He is a 2007 graduate of Seattle University, with a degree in fine arts/photography. He is an award-winning photographer, capturing third place in the Suburban Newspaper Association's national contest, as well as a First place Best Color Feature Photo in the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association. On his days off he enjoys film photography and working in the darkroom. |

Walker also has worked at the Lakewood Journal, the University Place Journal, South County Journal, King County Journal and now is with the Reporter Newspaper group. During his career, Walker has covered everything from rodeo to professional baseball. Walker is married and has two children. |
