Inter-city Contractors of Kenmore to build Tukwila Village

The construction contract for Tukwila Village has been awarded to Inter-city Contractors of Kenmore, which has built many of the Senior Housing Assistance Group's (SHAG) communities.

The construction contract for Tukwila Village has been awarded to Inter-city Contractors of Kenmore, which has built many of the Senior Housing Assistance Group’s (SHAG) communities.

Along with SHAG, the developer of Tukwila Village is Bryan Park, president of Pacific Northern Construction Co. of Puyallup.

The city and Park are in the final permitting stages; when permits are finalized, the public will begin to see initial work on the property at South 144th Street and Tukwila International Boulevard.

Inter-City Contractors has built Columbia Gardens and Interurban senior apartments and is currently building the Federal Way Celebration project for SHAG.

About 175 people attended the Tukwila Village groundbreaking on Aug. 1.
