Iron Butterfly to play Kent's ShoWare Center May 4

Rock band Iron Butterfly will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, May 4 at Kent's ShoWare Center.
With original members Ron Bushi, Lee Dorman and Northwest guitarist Charlie Marinkovich, Iron Butterfly is the first rock band to sell a Platinum Album ("In A Gadda Da Vida").
Magic Carpet Ride also is on the tour. The all-star group includes former members of Steppenwolf and Pegasus. They will perform Steppenwolf's greatest hits including "Born To Be Wild," "Pusher," "Magic Carpet Ride," and "Rock Me."
Special guest of the night will be The Xperience with a Jimi Hendrix tribute.
