City of Tukwila seeks entries for annual Holiday Lights Contest

Tukwila residents and businesses are invited to participate in the city’s third annual Holiday Lights Contest.

Judging will take place the week of Dec. 5, between the hours of 4-9 p.m. Winners will receive an official yard sign to show off their victory in lighting excellence.

Winners will be selected in the following categories:

• Classic holiday

• Visible from space

• Less is more

• Holidays around the world

• Apartment/condo: best door

• Apartment/condo: best balcony

• Northwest flair

• Best commercial District: indoor and outdoor

• Judge’s choice

• City staff or elected official

Entry forms are due by noon on Friday, Dec. 2, and can be returned at City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd.; the Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Ave. South; or by email to laurel.humphrey@tukwilawa.gov.
