The Tukwila Green Partnership will host an orientation on Saturday, June 3.

The orientation is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon at Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Ave. S.

Community members can learn more about the Green Tukwila Partnership and its effort to restore and care for 138 acres of Tukwila’s forests and greenspaces. There will also be opportunities to learn about caring for a local park or natural area by being trained as a Forest Steward.

The Green Tukwila Partnership is an initiative between the city of Tukwila, non-profits including Forterra, EarthCorps, and the Student Conservation Association (SCA) and the Tukwila community.
