The body of a man in his 50’s was found in the Snoqualmie River this evening.  He is believed to have been reported missing earlier in the week.

The victim’s car was found this afternoon at the Mount Si trailhead, and that prompted the search.  Guardian One flew downriver and found the body in the river about ½ miles from the trailhead around 7:40 p.m.

The body was recovered by the King County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit and turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The medical examiner’s will release the cause and manner of death, as well as the man’s identity next week.  At this point foul play is not suspected.
