Fort Dent Park, 6800 Fort Dent Way, opens to the public at 9 a.m. Monday, July 4, for the city’s annual Fourth of July celebration.

Event activities begin at 6 p.m., including inflatable bouncers and slides and an entertainment stage.

There’s a Game Theater for all ages featuring interactive gaming. Food is available from vendors, with family barbecues allowed only in designated areas.

The entertainment includes The Not-Its! at 6:30 p.m. and Rhythm Nation at 8:30 p.m. followed by the fireworks show at 10 p.m.
