The Tukwila Police Department is once again hosting the Community Spirit Holiday Toy and Food Drive to benefit those in need this holiday season.

The event is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the north parking lot of Westfield Southcenter Mall.

Organizers are asking for food, unwrapped gifts and monetary donations.

Members of the Tukwila Police Department will assist in the collection and on display will be the Police Incident Command Vehicle.

This is also a Safety Fair event, so police Explorers will offer fingerprinting for kids, plus stickers, temporary tattoos and safety pamphlets

The toy donations will support the Holiday Giving Program at the Tukwila Community Center. Food donations will go to the Tukwila Pantry community food bank.
