Father, son shot in Tukwila Monday; suspect wounded

A father and son were shot early Monday morning in Tukwila not far from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, according to the Tukwila Police Department.
The shooting occurred at about 1:20 a.m. Monday in the 15800 block of 39th Place South.
The father, 50, suffered a wound to the chest and the 20-year-old son was wounded in the leg. They were taken to a hospital for treatment; their wounds weren't life-threatening, according to Officer Mike Murphy, a spokesman for the Tukwila Police Department.
The suspect, a 35-year-old man, fled, but was quickly located by a police K-9 unit and taken into custody, according Murphy. He had a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
The suspect was treated for his injuries and was released from the hospital, according to Murphy. He was being interviewed by Tukwila detectives Monday morning.
The association between the victims and suspect was unknown Monday morning according to Murphy.
