The president boarded the plane later that afternoon, after spending a whirlwind two days in Seattle, where he stumped for Congressional candidate Patty Murray, fired up the Democratic party faithful, and stopped in for a snack at Seattle’s Top Pot Doughnuts. He decamped Tukwila’s Boeing Field that afternoon for a trip to California, where he was to rally for Sen. Barbara Boxer in Los Angeles.
