Starting Monday, Aug. 26,  the west side platform at Tukwila Sounder Station will be shut down for approximately four weeks. All passengers will need to use the opposite platform.

Riders could experience minor delays on Sounder service.

Tukwila Sounder Station construction

As part of the permanent Sounder Station construction, crews will shut down this platform to demolish the existing platform, shelters and ramps. Then they’ll build the new dirt embankment. Lastly, crews will re-build temporary platforms, shelters and ramps to be open for use until the permanent platform is built.
