GIRLS BASKETBALL: Hill leads Bulldogs to non-league win vs Bishop Blanchet

The Foster girls basketball team beat Bishop Blanchet 50-47 in overtime Tuesday.

The Bulldogs (4-2 overall, 2-2 Seamount) clamped down on defense in the extra period and held Blanchet scoreless, while adding three points to take a lead.

Sahara Hill led all scorers with 23 points. Shantell Jackson added nine for Foster.

Hill is now averaging 21 points per game this season, with a low game of 19. That average ties her with Kennedy Catholic senior Aminah Williams for second in the Seamount. Hill is also second in rebounds (10.0 per game) and fourth in steals (5.6 per game).
