The Hazen baseball team topped Renton 11-0 in five innings Friday.

The Highlanders (5-3 overall, 3-2 Seamount) scored 10 runs in the first inning. Renton (2-5, 2-4) couldn't manage a hit against Hazen pitcher Zac Kolterman. Kolterman pitched all five innings, walked two batters and struck out eight. He also had two RBI in the game.

Lindbergh 19, Foster 1

Lindbergh got out to a quick start and cruised past Foster 19-1 Friday.

The Eagles (6-0, 6-0) led 16-0 after two innings. Foster (2-6, 2-4) got on the board with a run in the third.

Lindbergh's Craig Yamaguchi went 2-2 with two runs, a home run and four RBI. Ryan White had three RBI. Brett Love went 3-4 with two runs, two doubles and an RBI. Love also earned the win on the mound.

Highline 11, Evergreen 0

The Pirates' Johnny Rodes pitched five innings, struck out nine and didn't allow any hits.

Kennedy Catholic 21, Tyee 1

The Lancers scored 15 runs in the first inning. Dominic Perettie had three RBI, Max Larson had two. Larson also struck out 10 on the mound.
