Tukwila Police find murder suspect in Kent; arrest him after firing foam impact rounds

Tukwila Police arrested a 27-year-old man Tuesday at a Kent apartment on a murder warrant in connection with the March 2008 shooting death of a man at a Tukwila apartment. Carlos Wayne Ellison has been on the run for two years, according to a Tukwila Police media release. Ellison is alleged to have shot his friend Rogers Jovan Ward in the head during an argument over money.

The active volunteer makes phone calls, gives out directions and assists with crime reports a couple of days per week at the resource center along Tukwila International Boulevard.

Tukwila Pantry a local staple for food, meals

Tice asked a couple of children as they showed up with their families for dinner. A similar scene repeats itself every Tuesday evening, as an average of 145 to 185 people attend a free dinner offered by the non-profit Tukwila Pantry in a room at the Riverton Park United Methodist Church.
