Boeing has reached a significant milestone — its 10,000th 737 jetliner. Hundreds of Boeing employees gathered at the 737 plant in Renton on March 13 to celebrate the milestone MAX 8 airplane that will go to Southwest Airlines at the end of the month. To commemorate the event, officials at Southwest Airlines presented a $10,000 check to Boeing’s community fund.
