Tukwila’s indoor skydiving center iFLY Seattle celebrated its first anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 23.

The center offers the thrill of free fall in a safe, controlled environment and features one of the fastest vertical wind tunnels in the world.

During its first year, iFLY hosted countless world record skydivers, including the Red Bull Airforce parachuting team and the Red Bull Airforce Pilots; Seahawks, Sounders and Mariners players; Andy Farrington the stunt double for the upcoming movie Iron Man 3; iFly’s youngest flyer – several 3-year-olds; iFly’s oldest flyer – a 94-year-old daredevil named Maury; and 10 flyers who performed flips at the same time.
