The Cascade Land Conservancy, City of Tukwila and Friends of the Hill on Sept. 18 celebrated completion of Phase I of the Duwamish Hill Preserve and its opening to the public. The family-friendly celebration included interpretive tours and other activities highlighting the cultural and ecological significance of the 8.6-acre site.
