Starting Friday (Feb. 5), the city of Tukwila’s website will have a new look and an easier way to navigate.
The “responsive” new website will work well on tablets and phones, making city information more accessible to users, says Rachel Bianchi, the city’s director of communications.
Over time, the city will add additional online services.
The city has been working on the upgrade for about nine months. The design was done under a contract but the city developed all the content in-house, she said, rewriting most of the existing content.
“We really tried to come in with a fresh eye on the content,” she said.
The website’s address doesn’t change, www.tukwilawa.gov.
