The City of Tukwila and the Tukwila School District are partnering to host the fifth annual Career Day on Thursday, April 28, for Tukwila’s teens.
The organizers are looking for community members to serve as guest speakers at workshops or to host a table at the job/college fair
The event is at Foster High School, 4242 S. 144th St., Tukwila, starting with the workshop sessions at 12:30 p.m. and the hour-long job fair at 2:30 p.m.
The workshops will give teens a chance to hear about the career paths of community professionals. And the job/college fair is a chance for teens and companies and colleges to connect about summer jobs, college, internships, volunteer and job-shadow opportunities.
The deadline to register is April 8.
More information about Career Day, including how to sign up to speak or to host a table, is available by contacting Nate Robinson, the City of Tukwila’s teen program specialist, at nate.robinson@tukwilawa.gov.
