Four people were injured, one suffering life-threatening injuries, in a three-vehicle accident Sunday morning on Interurban Avenue in front of Foster Golf Links, according to the Tukwila Police Department.
Their conditions weren’t immediately available Monday morning.
A red truck southbound on Interurban Avenue crossed the centerline, just as an SUV was changing lanes, according to a Police Department news release.
The pickup truck glanced off the SUV’s door, then collided head on with a white sedan at about 9 a.m., according to police. The SUV left the roadway and sheared off a light pole.
The driver of truck wasn’t injured, but both passengers, who were unrestrained, were injured, including one with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the white sedan suffered moderate injuries and a passenger was seriously injured, according to police. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
The driver of the red truck was driving with a suspended license; he was arrested for investigation of vehicular assault. The investigation is continuing.
Interurban was closed for about five hours.
