The Tukwila Community Center will be closed for programs and activities March 14-20 for its annual deep cleaning and maintenance.
The center will re-open on Monday, March 21.
The community center gym, racquetball court, dance studio, social hall and banquet hall will all be closed a week longer, through March 27, so the hardwood floors can be refinished and sealed.
The city will begin accepting activity registrations and inquiries again on March 21.

March 14 – 20
• Jazzercise – 7:50 a.m.-8:50 a.m. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and Saturday 9:15 a.m.- 10:15 a.m., Westfield Southcenter Mall in the Sky Terrace
• Jazzercise – 6:05 p.m.-7:05 p.m. (Monday-Thursday), Thorndyke Elementary School
March 21 – March 27
• Jazzercise – 6:05 p.m.-7:05 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) Thorndyke Elementary School and 6:05 p.m.-7:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at Westfield Southcenter Mall in the Sky Terrace
All other fitness classes will resume on a normal schedule beginning March 21 but may meet in an alternate space at TCC.
The Duwamish Cafe also is closed for about a month, reopening April 5, to undergo a makeover to provide social services in addition to offering lunch.
