Foster’s Alem Belete, who placed 10th in the 2A girls state cross-country meet Saturday, is the Seamount League’s girl Athlete of the Year for cross country.
She’s also on the girls all-league first team.
The Seamount League coaches vote on the postseason awards.
Belete, a senior, won the Seamount League girls cross-country championship and the sub-district’s leading to the state meet, and placed second at the district meet earlier this month.
