Foster High athletes earn All-League honors for fall sports

Abe Rios was named the Player of the Year for boys tennis.

Foster High School’s Abe Rios was named the South Puget Sound League 2A Mountain Division Player of the Year for boys tennis.

The team’s coach, Sopheak Ngeth, was named Coach of the Year, along with Fife’s Sherri Cail.

Foster received the sportsmanship award.

Metaab Buttar was named to the First Team and Leary Labanlic got honorable mention.

Girls cross country

Junior Ana Rios, freshman Donna Te and sophomore Nancy Jimenez made the SPSL 2A All-League Second Team for girls cross country.

Volleyball

Sophomore Moeshana Maiva made the SPSL 2A Mountain Division All-League Second Team and sophomores Gabriela Herndon and Decontee Doade got honorable mention.
