Renton to host rally Jan. 10 for playoffs-bound Seahawks

Renton, the home of the Seattle Seahawks, will host a rally on Friday, Jan. 10, to cheer on the team as it prepares for its first home-field playoff game leading to the Super Bowl.

Renton, the home of the Seattle Seahawks, will host a rally on Friday, Jan. 10, to cheer on the team as it prepares for its first home-field playoff game leading to the Super Bowl.

The “12” flag is flying at Renton City Hall and everyone is asked to wear blue, their best Seahawks spirit costume, and their “12” buttons to show their support. Free hot dogs, free Seahawks cheer cards and prizes for the best Seahawks Spirit costume will be available.

At the rally the City of Renton will unveil the original Seahawks/City of Renton monument that welcomes visitors to Renton, the “Home of the Seattle Seahawks.” and proudly celebrates our highly successful team.

The rally is 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way, Renton. Parking is available at Sam’s Club next door.
