The district has chosen three finalists for the Foster High School principal position.

The individuals listed on the Tukwila School District website are:

• Aida Fraser-Hamer, assistant principal of Kentwood High School

• Patricia Larson, principal of Career Academy at Truman High School in Federal Way

• Giovanna San Martin, assistant principal of Renton High School

Last Friday, the three finalists toured the school during specified time slots. According to the superintendent's office, the new principal is projected to be chosen by the new superintendent, Nancy Coogan, by the end of the week.

The search follows the resignation of Forrest Griek, effective June 30, after announcing he'd like to spend more time with family.
