Academy Schools announces participation in National School Choice Week

The event will feature Academy Schools commitment to individualized instruction and personal relationships in a small school environment.

Academy Schools announced it will celebrate the school’s students, teachers and staff during National School Choice Week 2019, which will be held from Jan. 20-26.

Academy Schools is an independent school serving grades Pre-K-12 with a student enrollment of 60. To learn more about Academy Schools, visit academyschools.org.

Held every January, National School Choice Week is the world’s largest annual celebration of opportunity in K-12 education.

The week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical. The goal is to raise awareness of the different K-12 education options available for children, including traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online academies and homeschooling.

The celebration will take place at 14601 Interurban Ave. S. Tukwila, Washington 98168.

The event is to start at 9 a.m. and is open to the public.
