Rainier Symphony will present its Classical Concert II Feb. 7 and 8 at Foster High School, featuring the work of Brahms, Grieg and Tchaikovsky.
Guest conductor is Robert Collins, who has conducted a variety of ensembles including symphony, chamber, and pit orchestras, as well as contemporary music ensembles.
The Saturday, Feb. 7, concert is at 7:30 p.m. at the Foster Performing Arts Center, 4242 S. 144th St., Tukwila. The Sunday, Feb. 8, concert is at 3 p.m., also at the Foster PAC.
The symphony will perform:
• Johannes Brahms, Tragic Overture
• Edvard Grieg, Peer Gynt Suite No. 1
• Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Symphony No. 4
Tickets are $17 adults, $12 for students and seniors (62 and older) and children 12 and under are free.
