Tukwila Police arrest SeaTac man for allegedly attempting to lure 13-year-old girl into car

Tukwila Police arrested a 27-year-old SeaTac man for allegedly attempting to lure a 13-year-old Tukwila girl into his car at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 27.

The girl and her parents reported to officers a man attempted to lure the girl into his vehicle while on her way home from school.

The officers gathered the information and went to the area where the girl stated the luring incident occurred.  The officers located a vehicle and person driving that matched the suspect description given by the girl.

The man attempted to flee from officers, but was quickly stopped and the driver was arrested at a nearby location. The man was taken into custody and identified by the victim.

Tukwila Police detectives are conducting interviews of the persons involved, and investigating the incident.
