September 2, 2012 · 8:13 PM

A 37-year-old Tukwila man was shot and killed in the parking lot of a motel in the 14100 block of Tukwila International Boulevard at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Tukwila Police Department.

A single suspect was seen fleeing from the area on foot.  A police K9 unit was used to track the suspect but lost the track several blocks away.  The suspect probably got into a car or entered a building, according to police.

Police arrived within 2 minutes of the incident.  The victim was found with several gunshot wounds and no signs of life.  Officers performed CPR until Fire Department units arrived.   The victim lived a short distance from the location.

Detectives processed the scene and interviewed witnesses, then continued their investigation Sunday.
