September 10, 2012 · 9:47 AM

The Tukwila City Council will hear an overview Monday (Sept. 10) on the master agreement for Tukwila Village.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. at council chambers, Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Tukwila Blvd. Next, the city will present the agreement to the City Council at its Sept. 24 meeting for additional discussion, with approval in October.

The city and the developer, Tukwila Village Development Associates, are near completion of the master agreement, known formally as the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA). The agreement will govern the sale and development of the property.

The City of Tukwila owns six acres at the intersection of Tukwila International Boulevard and South 144th Street, that will be developed for a mixed-use, neighborhood center. It will include a branch of the King County Library System, the city's neighborhood police resource center and a plaza/park in combination with other retail, office, live and work, or residential space.
