The ground-floor to mezzanine-level elevator at Tukwila International Boulevard Light Rail Station will be out of service from Monday, Sept. 18, to Friday, Sept. 22, for maintenance. The platform elevators will be operating normally.
During this time, it will not be possible to take the elevator up or down between the ground level and the upper floors at the station, 15426 35th Ave. S. The station will be open, bus and train service will operate normally and escalators, stairwells and the platform elevators are not affected.
Link riders who are on the northbound platform at Tukwila International Blvd Station, and who would require elevator service to the ground level, should instead ride a southbound train to SeaTac/Airport Station. Cross the sky bridge, and from the street level, transfer to a northbound Metro RapidRide A Line bus on International Boulevard just north of South 176th Street to get back to Tukwila International Boulevard Station.
Southbound Link riders requiring elevator service at Tukwila int’l Blvd Station, ride to SeaTac/Airport Station instead, cross the sky bridge and transfer to a northbound RapidRide A Line bus.
Riders on the ground level at Tukwila International Boulevard Station requiring elevator service to the platform, ride Metro’s RapidRide A Line bus instead to International Boulevard and South 176th Street, cross International Boulevard, then use the sky bridge to get to the SeaTac/Airport Station to transfer to Link.
Link riders starting at Angle Lake Station who would require elevator service at Tukwila International Boulevard Station, ride the northbound RapidRide A Line bus instead from the stop northbound on International Boulevard South just north of South 200th Street – across the street from Angle Lake Station – to Tukwila International Boulevard Station.
